Requests by external organisations to use the University logo

External organisations are permitted to use the University logo on their website and publications only in cases where a collaborative working relationship exists with the University and its staff and where explicit written permission has been granted by the University to do so. The Public Relations Office should be approached for permission for any such desired use of the University logo.

Where the University logo is used externally, it should ideally be accompanied by a brief phrase supporting/explaining the nature of the collaboration. Examples include:

The University logo is never to be used as an endorsement of an external organisation's work.

External organisations without express written permission to use the logo obtained from the Public Relations Office may not use the University's logo.
