Equality Impact Assessment Training

The Equality Act 2010 requires listed public authorities to conduct assessments of their current or intended policies, procedures, guidelines and services to identify any adverse impact on any group on grounds of protected characteristics.

This training session will enable staff to have an understanding of the relevance and value of Equality Impact Assessments in the context of promoting and mainstreaming equality and diversity, to gain practical skills to conduct Equality Impact Assessments, to consider actions to achieve and promote equality following an assessment, and to consider practical approaches to engaging stakeholders.
