Delivery Techniques for Lecturers Working with Large Groups

This half-day lecture demonstration will focus on assisting lecturers in finding out how to improve their delivery within large group teaching environments. Key areas covered will include stagecraft, proxemics, movement, gesture and orientation, and vocal skills (audibility, clarity and vitality). Techniques for effectively coordinating visual and spoken elements of a lecture will also be explored. This session will not cover teaching and learning theory.
