Confident Speaking at Meetings

We all attend meetings. Whether it’s the weekly group debriefing, the School/Department’s staff meeting, or the Health and Safety Advisory Committee, we all have some meetings scheduled in our diaries. As time is such an important and valuable resource, a fundamental question is “why are we there”? If we attend meetings at all it is essential that we make them work for us. This workshop will identify the key components of confident speaking at meetings and will provide the necessary tools for planning and delivering our message. We will explore the fundamental principles of communication and influencing which will assist us to be more effective in our interactions with others.
