What are Generic Benchmark Role Profiles (GBRPs)?

Generic Benchmark Role Profiles (GBRPs) have been developed to be representative of many non-academic jobs at Cardiff University and typically include common or frequently occurring elements of jobs within career pathways.

The profiles are indicative, not definite, and are intended to describe the demands and responsibilities required of most members of academic staff employed by UK Higher Education Institutions.
