Job Interviews
1/2 day
Well done! You have passed through the application stage and now the employer wants to meet you! The interview is one of the most popular recruitment selection methods across a wide range of employment areas and all levels of seniority. This workshop will examine the essentials of preparation and performance to minimise the risks of underselling at your next interview and maximise effective communication and your chances of landing the job. The employer perspective will be examined to increase your understanding of the process and how it fits with other elements of selection. It will include some brief role play in a safe environment. This workshop aims to give an increased confidence in planning how to deal with interview situations.
If you would like a one to one mock interview, ideal just before you face the real thing please email Josie Grindulis on Grindulis@cardiff.ac.uk
