Conference Planning Group 2007

The planning for the 2007 Conference was led by a team comprising research staff representatives from across the University with support from the Research Staff Development Team.

The research staff came from the following Schools and their Research Centres:

Cardiff School of Engineering

Cardiff School of Social Sciences

Cardiff School of Biosciences

Cardiff School of Medicine

Cardiff School of Optometry and Vision Sciences

School of Psychology

Welsh School of Pharmacy

The group considered the following issues which contributed towards the formation of the Conference Programme

• The facilitators that contribute to a successful conference
• Conference Aims
• Structure and delivery of the day

The group progressed matters through meetings, email updates and informal contact and participated in the running of the event.
