Why is PHEW important?
Professor Terry Threadgold with the School of Psychology staff football team, winners of the PHEW 2012 7-A-Side Football Tournament
“Ensuring that the health and well being of staff is supported is extremely important if we are to ensure that we have a happy, healthy and productive workforce. Since the first Positive Health and Environment Week in 2009, it has become a popular annual event in the University calendar. It is clear from the feedback we receive after each event that PHEW is something which staff have found enjoyable and valuable, enhancing their experience of working for the University.”
