Sir Herbert Duthie Prize for Staff Development

This award was created as a result of a generous endowment by Professor Sir Herbert Duthie, Provost of University of Wales College of Medicine (1979-1994).

A prize of £400 will be conferred the member of non-academic staff (i.e. staff other than teaching or research staff) who, in the opinion of the judging panel, submits the best proposal for using this award to advance their knowledge or skills related to their personal and professional development. 

Subsequent to receiving this award, the successful applicant will be expected to submit a brief report to the Panel on the use made of the prize money.
