Archaeology Today - 10 credits (HS2364)

This module examines the nature of current archaeological practice focusing on Britain but incorporating issues that have wider contemporary relevance. It examines how archaeology is constrained by legislation, organisational structure and funding priorities, and it looks at the relationship the profession has to wider issues of public interest (i.e., treasure hunting, death, attitudes to personal and community ownership).
