Standalone modules

Standalone modules offer an opportunity to undertake professional development at level six or seven as well as a way to begin an academic journey.  Some students like to undertake a standalone module to re-experience learning and see how it fits alongside their wider commitments.

Recognition of prior learning

Students are able to gain recognition of prior learning for these modules when they enrol on a programme of study if the correct conditions are met.  It should be noted that completion of standalone modules does not guarantee that they will form part of a wider programme of study.
