Receiving Your Certificate

What to expect

  • You will receive an email from Student Records, confirming the date of your degree award, and the address to where your Certificate and Transcript will be sent.
  • If any changes are needed to your address, please inform Student Records within five working days, to ensure that your documents reach you safely.
  • You will receive your Certificate and Transcript within eight weeks from the date of the email from Student Records.

Awards and Progress Committee

All Awards recommended by an Examining Board must be conferred by the University Awards and Progress Committee before Certificates and Transcripts can be issued.

If you have any outstanding educational debt greater than £30 you will not be included in the presentation lists for the Awards and Progress Committee until the debt has been paid.  Educational debt includes:-

  • Tuition fees
  • Library debt
  • Resubmission fees
  • Re-registration fees
  • Sitting Examinations outside Cardiff
  • Field trips

However this is not an exhaustive list.

The Committee Meetings will be held on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 23 October 2012
  • Tuesday 5 February 2013
  • Tuesday 9 April 2013
  • Tuesday11 June 2013
  • Tuesday 9 July 2013
