Social Events

The Graduate Centre hosts a variety of social events through the year - including free weekly film nights - which are open to all postgraduate students at Cardiff. You can also bring guests along to social events!

Coach Trips

The Graduate Centre operates fortnightly coach trips to great destinations in the UK which are open to postgraduates and their invited guests. You can check out our schedule and prices on the Trips webpage.

When bears are found dead in Norway, the students of the Volda University Thomas decide to investigate. They stalk the trailer of the mysterious hunter Hans expecting to find an explanation for the killings, and discover much more than they bargained for.

Top Gun

In honor of his late wife who died in a car accident, a scientist tries to synthesize the perfect skin which can withstand burns, cuts or any other kind of damage. As he gets closer to perfecting this on his flawless patient, the scientific community starts growing skeptical and his past is revealed that shows how his patient is closely linked to tragic events he would like to forget.

Olympic Opening Ceremony 

Olympic Opening Ceremony at the Graduate Centre Cafe Bar

The Opening Ceremony is a memorable event and is the true start of the celebrations. The event will surely be a show of what Britain has to offer and we will be part of this celebration. 

Come along to our Cafe Bar, where we'll be showing the ceremony (as well as all the events that follow). Light refreshments and snack will be provided.

To make sure the Graduate Centre Celebrations are a true colourful tribute to the Olympics, we challenge you to come dressed in the colours of your favourite nation. 

Don't miss this awesome opportunity to watch and enjoy the ceremony on the big screen in our cosy Cafe Bar together with all your fellow postgrads from across the university.
