Donating Records to the Institutional Archives
The Institutional Archive welcomes the donation of archival material relating to Cardiff University’s history. It actively seeks to collect records that make a significant contribution to the understanding of the University’s history, the environment in which it has operated and the impact that it and its alumni have made on the wider world. Such records include:
- records generated by Schools and Divisions in the course of their everyday business;
- records generated by University research projects;
- records generated by individual members of staff and students;
- records generated by other parts of the University community such as student associations, clubs and societies.
Records in all formats are accepted. Digital media may be retained as an analogue equivalent for preservation purposes. Those wishing to donate materials to Cardiff University should please contact the University’s Records Manager, Sarah Phillips.
