Carers and Working Familes Staff Network

The Network is open to all staff who are carers or with responsibilities for the care of children.

The Network aims to:

• provide a mutually supportive environment for sharing workplace experiences and concerns;
• offer a channel through which people can raise matters relating to their caring responsibilities and employment with the University;
• discuss and propose appropriate procedures and protocols that promote equality within the University;
• ensure that the University is informed of practices that may not be in compliance with its equality and diversity policy;
• liaise and work with other Equality Networks to ensure that all processes and procedures adopted by the institution recognise,  value and support all members of its diverse community;
