Offering a discount to Cardiff University staff

Are you a company or organisation interested in offering a discount to Cardiff University members of staff?

How does a company register as a discount provider?

In order to register as a discount provider, you will need to complete the company details on our online form - https://www.surveys.cardiff.ac.uk/discountproviders2014/ . Once your application has been reviewed, you will be contacted by a member of the 'Positive Working Environment' team who will notify you with regard to when the details of the discount will go live on the website and/or be circulated in the 'Staff Discounts' newsletter.

 

What information will be required to complete the form?

You will need to provide the following information when completing the form:

  • Contact details of a named contact within the company who will be the main point of contact;
  • Registered company information: name; registration number & registered address;
  • Company details for staff wishing to take advantage of the discount, e.g. website; telephone number;
  • A brief description of the company;
  • Details of the nature of the discount, e.g. % discount, expiry date (if any), and how to claim the discount, e.g. show Staff ID card

 

I would like the company's entry on the Staff Discounts site to include our logo. How should I submit that?

If you wish the company's logo to be included in its entry on the 'Staff Discounts' website, please e-mail it to staff_discounts@cardiff.ac.uk

 Please ensure that you put the name of the company and the word 'logo' in the 'Subject' field.

 

Can I include any additional documents, e.g. vouchers or flyers?

Yes. If you would like members of staff to present a voucher in order to claim the discount please send a pdf of the voucher to staff_discounts@cardiff.ac.uk . Please ensure that you put the name of the company and the word 'voucher' in the 'Subject' field.

 

What should we do if we wish to change the discount?

If you wish to change the level of discount that you offer to Cardiff University members of staff, please e-mail the amendments to staff_discounts@cardiff.ac.uk

 

Can we offer short-term offers in addition to the standard discount that we have set up?

Yes. If you wish to offer an additional discount for a short period of time, please forward details of the additional offer to staff_discounts@cardiff.ac.uk .  Details of short-term offers will be circulated via the 'Staff Discounts' newsletter.
