Course information

What courses do you offer at Cardiff University?

We offer more than 300 degree programmes and a modular system which provides a large degree of flexibility and choice. Many programmes enable you to defer the choice of specialism until the second year, while others provide intense preparation right from the start. The University has links with more than 100 European universities which gives many students an opportunity to study abroad.

What are the entry requirements for my chosen course?

We admit approximately 4,500 undergraduate entrants each year, the very large majority being school and college leavers, averaging more than three B grades at A-level. In order to view the entry requirements for your chosen course, please view the entry requirements for that degree programme.

Where can I get a copy of the University prospectus?

The 2015 entry prospectus is available to view online as an interactive digital magazine. You are also welcome to request a hard copy of the prospectus which we will post to you.

Do you accept transfer students? I have completed one year of my course at another institution already.

In some cases, we will accept transfer students. You will need to contact the Admissions Tutor for your course to discuss the possibility of transferring using the contact details on the course profile.
