Teachers' and Careers' Advisers Conference

Our Conference for Teachers and Advisers Conference is taking place on Friday 12th July 2013. Bookings can be made online at cardiffconference2013.eventbrite.co.uk.

The conference is a free, one day event designed to provide you with current, relevant information on issues relating to higher education, and exciting new developments at Cardiff University. This year we have been able to provide a choice of workshops depending on your interest, including a Special Educational Needs (SEN) strand for attending SEN coordinators. There are a variety of talks on offer from both university staff and external professionals and we hope that these will be of interest to you.

The programme also includes a choice of interactive Academic School tours. This is an excellent opportunity for you to try your hand at something new, whilst learning about some of the great courses on offer here at Cardiff. You are welcome to pass this invitation on to colleagues whom you feel may benefit from one of our specialist tours.

Lunch will be provided for visiting teachers and careers advisers and there will be an opportunity to meet admissions tutors, collect course literature and speak to current students throughout the day.

Please note that places for this event are likely to be taken up very quickly and we will therefore operate a first-come first-served booking policy, especially with regards to the Academic School tours.  We therefore recommend that you book your place no later than Tuesday 25^th June 2013. 

Should the event be over-subscribed, each organisation will be limited to two places per school/college/ organisation, and one additional place per SEN coordinator.
