Schools and Colleges Liaison Service

Our Schools and Colleges Liaison team works with over 240 schools and colleges each year, supporting the work of teachers in preparing students for higher education.

Information sessions

We offer a range of information sessions that can be delivered to sixth form students, in small or whole year-groups, as well as parents.

Open days

Our Open Day provides an opportunity for students to find out more about their chosen course and the academic and social facilities. We welcome bookings from school and college groups.

Widening access

We run a range of programmes and activities to raise aspirations and promote higher education to traditionally under-represented groups in Wales. These are offered to students in years 11 to 13.

Higher Education Roadshow

We work in partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University (formerly UWIC) to raise awareness and promote the benefits of higher education through HE Roadshow assemblies, delivered to year 10 and 11 students in Welsh schools.

Teachers' and careers advisers' conferences

The last conference for teachers and careers advisers took place on Friday 11th July 2014. The date for the next Conference has yet to be confirmed, but if you would like to be kept informed of upcoming events, please sign up to receive our newsletter
