What's the Students' Union all about?

Cardiff University Students’ Union is owned by 28,000 Cardiff University student members, and is run by eight elected student officers. It offers an exciting programme of entertainment, diverse clubs & societies and a comprehensive range of welfare, advice & information services – all aspects of student life within a purpose-built complex.

Cardiff University Students' Union, voted "the biggest and best in the UK" by The Independent will be open to prospective students on Open Day and offers the following activities:

Guided tours

Visitors will have the opportunity to speak to current students, Sabbatical Officers and staff who will be delighted to answer any questions on the Union and its facilities.

Cardiff Students' Union Showcase Exhibition

A great opportunity to understand what the Students' Union at Cardiff is all about and what benefits you have at your disposal, should you decide to study here.  The exhibition showcases all the student services available at Cardiff University Students' Union, from free advice, how to join a sports team or society and finally, what a great entertainments programme you have to look forward to.
