We strongly recommend travelling by public transport or using the Park & Ride as parking on campus is extremely limited.

Visit Park & Ride website
By car
Destination: Dumfries Place NCP car park, CF10 3FN or North Road car park, CF10 3DY
With several thousand people arriving all at once, the roads around campus can be very busy on open days. If it's your first visit to Cardiff, driving into the city to find parking could be time consuming, stressful and expensive. To avoid the hassle and cost we recommend using the Park & Ride.
There are a couple of car parks within walking distance of Park Place. The Dumfries Place NCP car park is £18 for the day and near the rest of the city centre. The North Road car park is £5 for the day and near Bute Park & the civic centre.
Coach parties
Destination: Museum Avenue, CF10
Coaches should approach the University along King Edward VII Avenue, turn into College Road and right into Museum Avenue where they can unload.
By air
Destination: Cardiff Airport
Several inter-regional and international air services operate from Cardiff Airport which is about 12 miles from the city centre. Visitors should take the X90 bus to Cardiff Central station or a free bus to Rhoose (Cardiff International Airport) railway station. All rail services from Rhoose go to Cardiff Central station and many also continue to Cathays station.
By bus
Destination: Cardiff University (Park Place) via Cardiff Central bus station if necessary
Some bus/coach services will stop outside the University on Park Place. If yours does not, you can get a local bus (routes 53, 85 or 86) from the main bus station to the University.
