Applicants with Technical Qualifications

If you are studying BTEC, we would normally expect you to get DDD or DDM. The School will also consider applicants studying for Vocational A-levels and other technical qualifications.

Applicants unable to demonstrate their potential via actual and predicted grades

Such applicants may be offered an interview and aptitude test as an alternative means of showing their academic potential. Decisions as to whether or not to invite such applicants for interview are taken by reference to the entirety of the information disclosed on the UCAS form, with particular emphasis on any past voluntary work or paid employment history.

Overseas Applicants

We welcome applications from overseas students and the School already has a number of overseas students studying undergraduate courses. An offer will be made to you based on achieving an entry standard equivalent to UK qualifications.

In the case of applicants whose first language is not English, competence in the English language is also a criterion of admission. More information is available on the English Language Requirements webpage.

Students with other qualifications or experience

We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 or over before commencing study) who have formal qualifications equivalent to A-level, or who have relevant work experience, or who have completed an appropriate Access course.
