This information will assist applicants in assessing whether they have the skills, attributes and qualifications which Cardiff School of Healthcare Sciences has identified as being important if students are to succeed on its undergraduate programmes of study. It also summarises the process which the School uses for selecting students and making offers, so that applicants understand how the School considers their applications.
The BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy 3 year full-time.
The School of Healthcare Sciences is a large academic School with a total average intake target of 250 places for each academic session. Competition for places is extremely high, with the majority of applicants meeting or exceeding the School’s minimum requirements. Applicants' chances of receiving an offer are greatly improved if they can demonstrate that they are appropriately qualified and/or a good match with the School’s requirements.
School Selection Procedures
Four University Open Days are held each year and provide the opportunity to visit all academic schools in addition to the residences, the Students’ Union and sports facilities. Please see our Open Day webpage for further details.
