Teaching Quality

Teaching and learning are at the very heart of Cardiff University.
These areas are given the priority and resources to maintain teaching of the highest standard and to ensure that students, from their studies, are able to gain knowledge, skills and experience which are of lifelong value.
Teaching at Cardiff takes place in a strong and successful research environment in which students benefit from interaction with researchers who are working at the frontiers of knowledge in their disciplines.
This has contributed to our high quality of teaching which has received robust endorsement from the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education whose Audit confirmed that prospective and current students, parents, teachers and graduate employers can continue to have every confidence in the quality and standards of Cardiff's awards and provision.
The feedback from the recent National Student Survey is also very positive and indicates high overall level of satisfaction among our students.
Further strong evidence of the high quality of teaching and learning at Cardiff comes from the accreditation of programmes of study by 42 different professional bodies.
The University has a one hundred percent record of success in gaining such professional accreditation, which frequently involves stringent annual reviews, and has earned much positive comment from independent assessors.
