Courses, quality & choices

Cardiff University offers a high level of flexibility in its courses, allowing you to adapt your learning to meet your individual needs. Degrees in the Humanities and Social Sciences allow you to take modules from other subject areas in the first year.  It is also possible to study a range of different subjects on a part-time basis, giving you the opportunity to balance study with your working and/or home life.  Please click here for details of these courses.

We also offer a route to science or engineering disciplines for those who do not currently have an educational background in these areas.  The University offers a range of one-year preliminary courses to help you review your study skills and achieve a good level of background knowledge in the subject area of your choice.
