Spanish

A-level

ABB including a good A-level in Spanish or another European language. General Studies is not accepted.

AS

Two AS subjects may be considered in lieu of a third A-level other than a European language.

IRL

Considered on a case by case basis.

IB

Considered on individual merit.

EB

Each applicant will be considered on his/her individual merit.

BTEC

Each applicant will be considered on his/her individual merit.

Other

Applications from those offering alternative/vocational/overseas qualifications (eg. Access,Vocational A-level) are welcome, as are those who may have combinations of qualifications or other relevant work/life experience.

Vocational A-Level

A mixture of A-level/AS and Vocational A-levels is acceptable. Subjects in which a six unit vocational A-level is acceptable will be judged on a case by case basis.

Welsh Baccalaureate

 Each applicant will be considered on his/her individual merit.

Scottish Higher

Each applicant will be considered on his/her individual merit.

Key Skills

The Key Skills qualification forms no part of the school's entry requirements.

Interviewing Policy

Interviews are usually reserved for mature applicants and those offering non-standard qualifications.
