A-level
AAA. Two subjects would normally be from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. General Studies is not accepted.
AS
As levels are not acceptable.
IRL
AAAABBB at Higher Level.
IB
Obtain Diploma with 34 points including Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics or Biology.
EB
Each applicant will be considered on his/her individual merit
BTEC
Each applicant will be considered at interview on his/her individual merit. An interview is not guaranteed.
Vocational A-Level
Each applicant will be considered on his/her individual merit. If selected, those students offering vocational A-levels will be invited to interview.
Welsh Baccalaureate
Selected applicants are interviewed and offers are based upon assessed merit by the school's admissions tutors.
Scottish Higher
AAAABB at Higher Level.
Key Skills
The Key Skills qualification forms no part of the School's formal entry requirements.
Other
Applications from those offering alternative/vocational/overseas qualifications (eg. Vocational A-level) are welcome, as are those who may have combinations of qualifications or other relevant work/life experience.
Interviewing Policy
Overseas students, mature students and all applicants offering non-standard qualifications are interviewed.
