Disabled Students
As a disabled student, you will be given priority during the allocations process, and, if necessary, could be guaranteed a place in University residences for the duration of your course.
A number of specifically adapted residences are available, in particular, for wheelchair users and students with a hearing impairment.
We are also happy to make individual reasonable adjustments for disabled students, for example, installing a handrail in a bathroom. You can request such adjustments at any time during your stay, please talk to your Residences Manager. However, if you are aware of any adjustments in advance of your arrival, please contact the Disability Advisor to discuss these and we will try to have it in place by the time you arrive.
