A number of events within School locations are also being offered by some of our Academic Schools, including presentations and admissions advice sessions. Please enquire at the relevant School stand for details of any additional School-based events which may not be listed.

Welsh School of Architecture

Talk ‘Postgraduate Opportunities at the Welsh School of Architecture’

School of English, Communication and Philosophy

1) Attend a Philosophy MA seminar 'Ethics and Applied Ethics'

When? 11.45 (Meet at the English Communication & Philosophy stand in the Great Hall)

2) Visitors are invited to attend the Royal Institute of Philosophy seminar.   The guest speaker is Mark Kelly from Middlesex University and his talk is entitled 'Foucault and the New Critical Political Philosophy'.

School of History, Archaeology and Religion

Tour of Conservation and Archaeology labs

When? 14.00 (Meet at the School of History, Archaeology and Religion stand in the Great Hall)

School of Journalism, Media and Cultural studies

Tour of the department for students interested in the Postgradaute Diploma in Journalism including a chance to talk to the current Diploma students and Diploma staff.

School of Mathematics

Open house with tour of facilities.

School of Music

Lunchtime Open House with Refreshments (an opportunity to meet PG directors and current PG students. A series of short presentations will be provided)

When? 13.00-14.00 (Concert Hall Foyer, School of Music map ref. H)

Heath Park Campus. (Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Healthcare Studies Nursing & Midwifery)

Students interested in the studying in Schools based at the Heath Park Campus can sign up for this bus tour of the site (please note you will not be able to get off the bus).
