Located in the VJ Gallery our drop in advice shops will give you an opportunity to put your
questions to the University experts.

Careers Consultations

Are you unsure about what to do next? Do you want to know which careers your chosen postgraduate degree could lead to? Would you like to find out more about the opportunities for work placements and gaining experience whilst you study? Our expert Careers Advisors will be on hand throughout the day to give advice on which courses to take and where postgraduate study could take you.

You may also be interested in attending one of our highly popular talks provided by the Careers
Service; “How to Choose a Master’s Degree” and “What is a PhD and how do I apply?”

Funding and Scholarship Search Demonstrations

Use our Funding and Scholarship Search to find out about the funding opportunities currently available at Cardiff University. (You may also want to attend one of our Funding talks)

The online Application Service

Attend a demonstration of our online application service. These take 30mins and will start at
12.30, 1.30 and 2.30.

For advice on writing a research proposal please speak to staff on the stands in the subject fair.

Student Advisory Service

Saff from our Advisory Service are on hand to offer information about support services at
Cardiff including disability and dyslexia support, information about childcare, advice about finances and more.

Information Services

Find out more about libraries, access to ejournals, computing facilities, training and courses and also ‘Cardiff Portal’ which provides a personalised gateway to web-based services in and beyond the University, including email, Voyager and the Virtual Learning Environment.

Cardiff the City and Student Life

Speak to our current students about their experiences of studying and living in Cardiff .
