I have found the Financial Economics course to be  intellectually stimulating since we do not only concentrate on theory, but also on current issues such as the ongoing financial crisis and credit crunch. The university also arranges numerous financial seminars which keep us up-to-date with current financial events. 

I have also really enjoyed the postgraduate trips organized by the postgraduate centre. These provide a chance for students to go visit the cities and tourist attractions around Cardiff and in United Kingdom at competitive rates, with the university arranging for transport. I have been to many postgraduate trips such as the South Wales Tour, Bath, Stonehenge, Alton Towers etc. and looking back the memories make me laugh since they have all been great fun!

Cardiff is a lively student city, and in spite of being a capital city, it is not as expensive as other major cities in the UK. The people here are friendly, and with its numerous parks, beach/bay areas and architecture, Cardiff is a very beautiful city.

I can confidently say that my Cardiff Postgraduate experience has been lively, fulfilling, fun and at the same time has powerfully equipped me for the future.
