ESRC Wales Doctoral Training Centre
Having won a coveted place in the national network of training centres accredited by the ESRC, the Wales Doctoral Training Centre (Wales-DTC) is awarding a number of ESRC-funded postgraduate research studentships to support doctoral research and training.
Each DTC has accredited pathways, onto which 4 year or 3 year studentships are awarded. At Cardiff University the accredited pathways are:
- Economics
- Empirical Studies in Law
- Environmental Planning
- Human Geography
- Language Based Area Studies
- Linguistics: Language and Communication
- Management and Business Studies
- Psychology
- Social Sciences: Criminology; Education; Science and Technology Studies; Social Policy; Social Work and Social Care; and Sociology.
