You will be required to have the Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced (GCE A-Level) to be considered for Cardiff University's undergraduate programmes.
You will also be considered if you have the International Baccalaureate (IB) or BTEC qualification.
Postgraduate taught courses
If you have completed a good first degree, you will be considered for admission on to a one year master's degree. Cardiff University generally requires a 2:1 classification or above.
Postgraduate research programmes
If you are applying for research programmes from Brunei, you will be required to provide evidence that you have already carried out research, usually via the successful completion of a relevant master's degree.
You will be required to have a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognised institution with a good GPA and possibly also a relevant master's programme from a recognised institution.
A relevant English language qualification is also required — if you have a grade C or above at GCSE level this is usually sufficient.
If you are unsure of your qualifications or entry requirements please contact the International Office.
Mr Jon Wright from the International Office will be travelling to Brunei in August to attend the BUBA UK Higher Education Fair on Wednesday 19 August.
The event will be an excellent opportunity to discuss your study options for 2016 and seek advice about applying to Cardiff. Students due to commence their studies in September can also raise any last minute pre-departure questions and find out everything they need to know about induction and orientation.
