How to Apply
When applying to Study Abroad in Cardiff University you must provide the following:
A completed application form, including a list of provisional module choices.
Supporting documentation
- an official transcript from your home university
- 2 academic references
Selecting modules
You are required to list your provisional module choices by order of preference on your application form, and also select two additional modules in case of timetable clashes. However, we will do our best to ensure that you do get to study all the modules that you select.
If you are planning to study for an entire academic year, you should list modules worth 120 credits plus two additional modules. If you are studying for one semester, you should list modules worth 60 credits in total with two additional module choices.
It is the responsibility of all Study Abroad students to ensure that arrangements to transfer credit back to your home university are in place. For advice on module selection and credit transfer, you should speak to the relevant academic office in your home university.

Application deadline for the Autumn Semester or Full Year is April 30th 2009. Application deadline for the Spring Semester is October 31st 2009
