This handbook is intended to be used as a general guide of the modules offered to Study Abroad students in Cardiff University. The inclusion of a module in this handbook is not a guarantee that it will be offered to students in a given academic year.
New modules may also become available and will not be included in this handbook. For more up to date information on modules offered within academic schools, please visit their websites.

Some of our modules are only available in the Autumn or Spring Semester and this is stated alongside the module description.
Other modules are only available for students who will study for the whole academic year in Cardiff as the module runs over both semesters. This is also indicated in the handbook where the duration of the module is: ‘Autumn/Spring’.
However, some academic schools will allow students to study a year-long semester module and will offer bespoke assessments for students following one semester. If a student is particularly interested in studying a year-long module for one semester they should contact the Study Abroad Office to see if this can be arranged with the given academic school.
