In addition to the funding offered centrally by the University and the University's partners, academic Schools are also offering funding opportunities to international students.

Cardiff Business School

Postgraduate - India AwardNo - Open to students normally resident in India.£4,000522nd July 2012Five scholarships are available to students normally resident in India enrolling on any of the School's Postgraduate taught degree programmes.

 

The scholarships will be awarded on merit, taking into account prior academic performance. The potential benefit of postgraduate study and the scholarship award for both the scholar and his/her community will also be considered.

< /p> Students wishing to apply for this scholarship must submit a written application (300 words maximum) stating why they believe they are deserving of a scholarship. This should be e-mailed to Dr Fiona Davies, Director of Student Recruitment, Cardiff Business School (daviesfm@cardiff.ac.uk) no later than 22nd July 2012.

Postgraduate - Alumni AwardYes20% discount on fee for chosen programme.Awards available to all eligible students.22nd July 2012These scholarships are available to overseas students, at either undergraduate or postgraduate level, whose parent is an alumnus of Cardiff Business School.

 

Students who believe they are eligible for these scholarships should e-mail Dr Fiona Davies, Director of Student Recruitment, Cardiff Business School, (daviesfm@cardiff.ac.uk), no later than 22nd July 2012, attaching a scanned copy of their parent's degree certificate and a scanned copy of a document confirming the family relationship, e.g. birth certificate, adoption certificate.

This scholarship is available to self-funded international fee paying students from outside the European Union. To qualify you must obtain at least a second class Law degree.

 

After you have been accepted on to the postgraduate programme the scholarship will result in a £1,000 reduction in your fees.
