Things to do and see in Cardiff
Cardiff is an exciting place to be at the moment; there are so many cultural, social and sporting activities to become involved in. For up-to-date information on what's on, the Students' Union publishes a free weekly newspaper called Gair Rhydd (Welsh for 'Free Word') which contains full listings. This is available from the Students' Union or in the refectories around the University campus.

In the heart of the city and the University campus this is Wales's leading cultural museum

At the heart of Cardiff Bay lies the internationally renowned Wales Millennium Centre, an arts centre housing theatres for musicals, opera, ballet and dance, as well as cafes and arts organisations.

The Welsh International Climbing Centre boasts one of the biggest indoor climbing walls in Europe. The centre also has a caving system, fitness suite, family and bunkhouse accommodation, sauna and steam room and many pleasant walkways and bike rides.
Learn the Welsh Language
