International Students have access to the same pastoral and academic services as home students but because we understand the extra pressures and needs that coming from another country can bring there are several organisations and people who are here just to help Cardiff University's International Students.

Induction Programme

The International Foundation Office co-ordinates the Induction Programme for International Foundation Programme Students. There are five days of events designed to introduce you to life in Cardiff; the University; the City; and the surrounding countryside. We hope you will find the induction programme useful, enjoyable and more importantly we hope you will make some friends and settle in happily for your stay in Cardiff.

The International Foundation Office
