Dr. YU, Li

Deputy Director, International Centre for Planning and Research, School of City and Regional Planning, Cardiff University

Dr Yu Li was previously appointed Director of both the Centre for International Cooperation & Training, and the International Relations Office within China Academy of Urban Planning & Design. His experience ranges from working within an expert capacity on behalf of both the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, to undertaking research projects with Chinese local governments focussing on urban design and development.In September 2004 Dr. YU delivered a number of presentations in Xiamen, and later that year he also worked with Professor John Punter from the School of City and Regional Planning, Cardiff University, delivering both lectures and presentations at Peking University, China Society of Urban Planning, Tongji University, Fujian Province Society of Urban Planning and Shenzhen Municipal Society of Urban Planning.
