We have over 60 sports clubs ranging from traditional sports (like rugby, football, cricket or tennis) to martial arts, motorsport and watersports.
Many clubs travel all over the UK to compete against other universities in the British Universities & Colleges Sports competition.
There is a small charge to join each club but this includes insurance.
If you don’t have time to commit to a sports club, we also have several extremely popular leagues including 11-a-side and 7-a-side football, netball, squash, tennis, badminton and dodgeball. Simply get a group of friends together and form a team.
Our sports facilities are located on four sites across both campuses and include a training village, swimming pool, fitness & squash centre and 33-acre sports fields (used by touring international squads).
For students who have represented their country at National, Junior or Senior Standard or who are recognised by their governing body as having outstanding potential, our High Performance programme is designed to support student-athletes continue their sporting careers alongside their education.
This is an externally hosted beta service offered by Google.
