English Language Support
Postgraduate
If you are a non-native speaker of English in JOMEC, you can currently access 2 to 3 hours of English classes per week in the School in the Autumn and Spring Semesters.
You can also sign up for some one-to-one tutorials with an English language tutor. For more information, see the English Language Programmes’ notice board in the right-hand corridor on the ground floor of Bute.
The In-sessional team will be carrying out tests for international MA students in the first two weeks of the Autumn Semester. You will receive more information about this in your induction in JOMEC.
There will be tailored English classes for each of the following Master’s programmes:
- MA International Journalism
- MA Political Communications and MA Journalism, Media and Communications
- MA International Public Relations and Global Communications Management
Undergraduate
Undergraduate students in JOMEC can sign up for some one-to-one tutorials with an English language tutor.
