Short Courses and Conferences

These are self financing events which receive either no or minimal Funding Council support.

Any staff that are organising a short course or conference must have the permission of their Head of School, and provide finance with a detailed costing form.

You will find to the right of this page our standard costing form template for organising a Conference or a Short Course.

Please note that for the sustainability of departments staff costs and overheads need to be costed in to the event. If any help is needed for this to be completed, please use the contact details below.

The course organiser will be responsible to the Head of School for the day to day management of the short course/conference.
