The Histories, Memories and Fictions of Europe research group and the Centre for European Film and Visual Cultures are pleased to announce the latest seminar in the New Screenings series on film and visual culture.
Dr. Elizabeth Ezra is Senior Lecturer in French at Stirling University and the author and editor of a number of key texts on French and European cinema, including Transnational Cinema: The Film Reader (Routledge, 2006), European Cinema (Oxford University Press, 2004) and The Colonial Unconscious: Race and Culture in Interwar France (Cornell University Press, 2000).
