The Institute for the Study of European Visual Cultures (IVC) in association with the Histories, Memories and Fictions Research Unit present a talk by Daniel Meadows. Daniel Meadows is a Lecturer in Photography and Participatory Media and a Cardiff University & Honorary Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society.
Daniel will discuss his project 'Shop on Greame Street'. In 1972, while studying photography at Manchester Polytechnic, Daniel Meadows rented a disused barber's shop in the city's Moss Side district and opened it as a free portrait studio.
