MA European Studies

The MA in European Studies is designed to give students a broad understanding of European issues in politics, literature and society, while at the same time providing the opportunity to specialise in chosen pathways.

MA Translation Studies

The MA Translation Studies offers a balanced combination of theory and practice-based modules to prepare students for a range of careers in translation or for further research at PhD level. It is designed to offer training in translation that is applicable to any source- and target-language pairing, and it complies with the European Master’s in Translation guidelines produced by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Translation.

This programme of study is designed to give postgraduate students a comprehensive grounding in the disciplinary and academic skills that are central to the study of International Relations.

MA Political Theory

Political Theory is a fascinating subject for study. It is centrally concerned with important questions of political authority and legitimacy, with issues such as human rights, multiculturalism, distributive justice and just war.

MScEcon Politics & International Relations + Laurea Magistrale (Turin)

This programme requires fluent English and Italian from the outset. Students who complete the full two year programme will obtain two degrees at Masters Level: the Caradiff MScEcon Politics and International Relations, plus the Laurea Magistrale in scienze internazionali from Turin. Students who wish only to complete the first year, for the Cardiff award, may do so.

MSc Econ European Governance and Public Policy

The MScEcon in European Governance and Public Policy bridges European integration studies, public policy, comparative politics and area studies. It promotes understanding of the historical, cultural and institutional contexts of the leading European nations - France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom – and the common pressures which they face.
