Electronic resources

We can help you find information from a wide range of online resources.

In particular, we produce European Sources Online, a daily updated information service, and Europe on the Internet, a substantial guide to information sources.

You can also find information through other useful search engines, websites and databases, and through information guides focusing on specific topics.

European Sources Online

The primary electronic source of European information is European Sources Online (ESO). We compile and edit ESO at the European Documentation Centre. ESO is published by Cardiff University Press.

ESO is a free access service offering a major index of European information sources including links to full text sources, bibliographical references to key textbooks and periodical articles, and information guides to European institutions, policies and countries.

Our 'ESO in...' guides offer an easy and efficient way of finding information sources on the major events, initiatives and challenges within the European Union and across Europe. This guide is published monthly on our blog, with an annual compilation at the end of each year.
