Dr Portas (MSc Econ, PhD, Cardiff) is currently a Dorothy Sherman-Severin Research Fellow (Early-Career Researchers in Hispanic Studies, AHGBI and WISPS). Paula is undertaking a multi-sited and mobile ethnography of finance policy in a Spanish region. The research project aims to explore the territorial dimension of finance at the regional level, focusing particularly on the restructuration of the savings banks on going since the beginning of the Spanish sovereign debt crisis.
