I completed my undergraduate studies at Nantes University and gained a Postgraduate Teaching Certificate in Further and Higher Education and a diploma in Social Psychology in Cardiff University.
I became a Tutorial Fellow in EUROS in 1998, following a period of four years as an Associate Lecturer.
Biography
Teaching profile
I am particularly involved as coordinator in gathering and creating course material in essay-writing and Rapport de synthèse for the Year 4 students and also for the Socrates Specialised Translation Course (English into French). I also contribute in preparing course material for the first and second year expression and Translation courses.
I am part of the teaching teams for EU1104 French Expression, EU1200 Expression and Translation, EU1301Expression and Translation. I also supervise Third Year students’ work on their Year Abroad projects.
External activities
I am currently a Distance Learning Associate Lecturer and Examiner for the Open University and keep a keen interest in new methods of teaching at a distance, for instance online tutorials. As an Adult Education Tutor, I have been developing and teaching courses for Advanced students in French especially undertaking the international Diplôme Approfondi de langue française known as the DALF.
