Estates Division Safety Section

The Safety Section aims to

  • Contribute to the strategic health and safety planning and the implementation of the management arrangements within the Estates Division;
  • Promote and assist in the development of excellence in all aspects of health and safety management;
  • Work and collaborate closely with the Occupational Health, Safety & Environment Unit to demonstrate that all aspects of health and safety management are being effectively managed;
  • Assist in supplying health and safety information to University Schools and Directorates and Contractors employed by the Estates Division;
  • Monitor compliance within the Estates Division of its safety policy and ensure its arrangements are both audited and reviewed as required.
