From the accessible side entrance: follow the corridor straight ahead through the double doors. -1.64 is the second room on the right.
Facilities and Room Information
-1.64 is a fixed seated, tiered lecture theatre.
There is one fixed wheelchair space at the front of the theatre.
There is an accessible height and tilt adjustable table provided.
The lectern and computer surface is 1060mm above the floor.
There is limited access behind the lectern. If wheelchair access to a lectern is required, please book an alternative room.
This room is fitted with an induction loop. Please use the 'T' switch on your hearing device to use the loop.
The microphone linked to the induction loop is fixed on the lectern. Please ensure you speak towards the microphone.
The door has a lever handle, which is 1060mm above the floor.
All fire routes and exits are clearly sign posted using the green running man signs. Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the exits and exit routes.
Level Egress: There are exit doors at either end of the corridor.
If you think you might require assistance in the event of an emergency evacuation, you must arrange a Personalised Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) as soon as possible. Students must contact their School Disability Contact to arrange a PEEP. Staff will need to contact their School / Division Disability Contact or their manager to arrange a PEEP. Please remember that it is your responsibility to inform the relevant person that you require a PEEP to be set up.
In an emergency evacuation the lifts must not be used.
